GREAT GRIPS

These nifty little soft and grippy (but not sticky), rubbery covers fit over doorknobs and faucets to make operating them much easier. They come in red, blue, clear and glow-in-the-dark. For those with allergy concerns, they are also Latex-free.

I installed the glow-in-the-dark covers on my front door myself inside and out without assistance (no screwdriver required and without a broken nail). The surface ribs give lots of grip for little hands and the lever knob makes opening the door a snap even when I'm wearing gloves. I can even open the door just by rubbing my arm on it or resting my hand on the lever.

I also like their anti-microbial feature which prevents germs from growing into a hazard on the knobs - even in the bathroom where the moisture and heat combine for prime bug growing zones. After two weeks on the door, they became a bit grimy. I lust took them off and tossed them into the dishwasher for cleaning as suggested. They came out like new, still grippy and happily glowing.

So how much are these wonderful little friends? Believe it or not, just $10.95 for a two-pack or $16.95 for a home-sized five-pack. And they comply with CFR 4.13.9 under Title II or Title Ill of the ADA for commercial or government facilities. Find them online at www.greatgrips.com.
