Great Grips Recognized
at Promotional Products International Association Expo
2005
Littleton, CO - Great Grips were selected as one of
the 25 most brilliant new products for 2005 during the
Promotional Products International Association (PPAI) Expo in Las Vegas.
Offered as a promotional item by AgIONTM
under the brand name "CleneGrips", the product was the main attraction at the AgION booth,
one of 3,577 booths at the show.
"We are thrilled with the warm
welcome that CleneGrips have received," Pat Going
said, "especially because we have a promotional
product that can actually make life easier for people,
while getting the sponsor's name out. CleneGrips are
a great alternative to the traditional promotional giveaways
because they are useful and they are put in a place
where many people will come in contact with the sponsor's
name...the door!"
Originated in 1989, these doorknob twisters have received
special recognition over the years from the Arthritis
Foundation, the Arthritis Society of Canada, the American
Society on Aging, and the Wal-Mart Innovation Network
(WIN) program. After partnering with AgION in 2004,
Great Grips with AgION antimicrobial have been sold
as CleneGrips to the promotional market. Companies using
CleneGrips as a giveaway item can mold their company
name, web site address, or phone number in raised letters
on the front of the grip. CleneGrips are available in
any color, including a highly effective glow-in-the-dark
version for home and business safety.
Going and partner, Bill Youmans,
anticipate that the recognition received at the PPAI
Expo and the exposure to the 13,426 distributors in
attendence will significantly increase the use of CleneGrips
as a promotional item.
