Featured Story AgION Technologies Heralded by TIME Magazine and the World Economic Forum
Littleton, CO - AgIONTM Technologies, the manufacturer of the antimicrobial agent added to the antimicrobial version of Great Grips, was recognized by both Time Magazine and the World Economic Forum for the company's groundbreaking microbicide.
The TIME magazine article, Hygene's Silver Bullet, cites the hundreds of products using AgION to fight the growth of everything from bacteria to mold.
AgION's selection as one of 36 Technology Pioneers for 2006 by the World Economic Forum is based on the company's development and application of "highly transformational and innovative technologies in the areas of energy, biotechnology and health, and information technology."
"AgION is finally receiving national recognition for creating a solid, trustworthy product that is effective at reducing germs," Pat Going said. "We have partnered with AgION for over two years. Using their effective microbicide in our door knob covers is one way that this breakthrough product can bolster the individual's ability to win the fight against germs."
Developed in 1989, Great Grips has been an AgION partner since 2004.
